Sample Article: Does the Right Software a Great Designer Make?

The article "Does the Right Software a Great Designer Make?" is very useful. While reading this I remembered different experiences in my life where instructors have made some of these mistakes. After reading this, I wish I had read this article when I first started college, it would have saved me from making a few mistakes. Everything discussed seems like common knowledge by it can easily be forgotten when you're in a middle of a project. I will definitely use this article when I make my next visual.

I had no idea how far back the roots of the Internet go. I learned a lot from the article "Brief History of the Internet."  I was shocked that the U.S. military played any part in making the Internet what it is today. It makes sense why the government would want to develop it. It is amazing to think back to when there was no Internet or e-mail. It is also quite amazing how quickly the World Wide Web has developed.  It is now part of our everyday life and this class supports that idea. I wonder what the future holds for us when it come to technological advance since we have come so far in the past forty years. How will this affect our classrooms? It is important for our teachers to incorporate this technology into their classes in order to keep our children up to speed with the rest of the world, in my opinion. There are a great many cynics out there who don't believe that technology should be an investment schools make, particularly when there are so many other needs in school, but I don't agree. We could save an enormous amount of money if we did not purchase endless textbooks and other commercial curriculum materials, many of which are biased anyway. The Internet provides a vast store of information and the opportunity to become critical consumers of information rather than just passively accepting one textbook author's opinion.
